Boston of the Month
I love long walks, training sessions, and treats. I know sit, stay, come, and down, and I am working on leash walking.
I want to sleep on your bed and I like lounging on the couch.
I’m crate trained and I don’t mind if you have to leave for a couple of hours but please come back soon! I’ll be so happy to see you.
I get along with young children and currently live with them in foster care and my previous home.
I would rather not play fetch or tug of war. I’d rather cuddle or go for a walk.
Though I came from a home with other dogs I prefer to be the only dog in the house. I tend to bark when I meet other dogs. It took me many months to accept the ones in my previous home.
I need a family who would enjoy spending time training me, taking me for walks, and just hanging out.
Eligible for the Golden Paws Program (adoptors 60 yrs and older adopting a dog 7 yrs and older get $50 off the adoption fee noted below)

Dogs in hospice care have been deemed unadoptable due to terminal illness, but they are still happy and deserving of a good quality of life. Would you be interested in providing for one of these animals? Click here for more information.

We are always looking for people who are willing to open their hearts and homes to Bostons in need via our foster program. We also need volunteers to help with adoption events and fundraising.
