Don’t Shop. Adopt a Boston Terrier!

Looking for a great dog? You’re in the right place! MidAmerica Boston Terrier Rescue adopts out hundreds of amazing dogs each year. We even have a Golden Paws for Golden Years program that helps match adult dogs with qualified senior citizens.

Boston of the Month

earlMy name is Earl. A 4 year old Boston MIX. Weighing in at just 18 pounds. I was picked up as a stray.

I am a smart little boy. Well mannered and gentle. I enjoy human companionship. I live with another male and we get along most of the time but sometimes butt heads. I enjoy walks and running the backyard. I have been well behaved at a doggie day care too.

I am in great health and potty trained.  Read more about me here.

Hospice Program

Dogs in hospice care have been deemed unadoptable due to terminal illness, but they are still happy and deserving of a good quality of life. Would you be interested in providing for one of these animals? Click here for more information.

MABTR Needs Your Help!

We are always looking for people who are willing to open their hearts and homes to Bostons in need via our foster program. We also need volunteers to help with adoption events and fundraising.
