Boston of the Month

My name is Bogey. I am 14 years old and weigh 19 pounds. I need a new home because my family starting having children of which I was not fond of. I am being fostered in St. Charles, MO.

I am a very sweet boy needing a special person. I am is nearly deaf and don’t see well. I startle easily and might snap at someone when startled, so I am not a good candidate for being around children.
I also have a bit of separation anxiety. I need someone that is patient and understands that I am a 14 year old senior that is a bit set in his ways and has some of the frailties that old age brings. That said, while I am not a typical “lay all over you” cuddler, I love to lay next to you and be touching you. I am also comfortable in my kennel if it is soft and comfy.

I love treats!
I get along with other dogs, I have three foster brothers that I like to play with.
I would rather not be around children, they make me nervous because I don’t see or hear well.
I need someone that will love me even though I’m not a puppy.

Eligible for the Golden Paws Program (adoptors 60 yrs and older adopting a dog 7 yrs and older get $50 off the adoption fee noted below)
