Boston of the Month

pearlMy name is PEARL. I am 11 years old and weigh 14 pounds. I need a new home because I was found as a stray.

I am a sweet little older lady that is like velcro to the person I love. I love to snuggle on the couch in blankets with you. I also like to play with stuffed toys. I enjoy being outside and surprise people when I chase birds. I need to sleep in bed with you because I don’t like to be by myself all night long in a crate.

I was nearly starved to death when animal control found me. I am very protective of my food and my space. I live with two fur foster brothers and like them, but will growl at them if they get too close to my mom and food. I don’t like people coming to the front door. I will bark loudly to try to scare them away. I don’t like high energy around me. I try to stop active kids and dogs from being too busy around me.

The ideal home for me would be an inactive home with very few visitors. Someone home often to let me outside. I like to be spoiled. I do like to go for short walks and meet people outside of my home very politely. A one level home would be best for me since my knees are kind of weak.

Foster mom says: Very loving. Would be perfect with someone to sleep with them and be loved and spoiled.
