Violet's Second Chance with MidAmerica Boston Terrier Rescue

Updated: Jan 17, 2023

MABTR alumni, Violet, at the age of 3, was picked up at an Amish breeder by a volunteer. No mention of her condition however evident we had major issues with her eye. Her eye was bulging and had no vision. We called the vet and were able to get her in within a few days to have the eye removed which was right thing to due as in addition she had glaucoma which was obviously not treated.

Violet was in need of full vet care from vaccinations, treatment of ear infection, a spay, dental, mass removal, and eye enucleation.

Violet received medical care she greatly needed to be pain free. All these surgeries were performed over two sessions.

Medical bills came to $1581. Her adoption fee only $400 which is strictly based on her age, not our investment.
