In memory of Bambi

Some losses change you forever. Losing her was one of those losses. Bambi slipped through her harness and went missing. Though sighted multiple times we were always steps behind. Unfortunately, she was reported deceased on the side of the road which ended our search.  She was a very timid, gentle girl who deserved to feel safe. The thought that she may have been frightened and that we couldn't get her home is something we will carry with us. We know that accidents happen but we wish more than anything that we could go back and change what happened.

We don't want her story to end with heartbreak.

In her memory, we are starting a fundraiser to help provide GPS-tracking collars to dogs who are a flight risk in foster care and during their transition to their new forever home. Our hope is to give our foster parents and adopters a little more peace of mind—and, most importantly, a better chance of bringing the lost boston back home safe.

Every GPS tracking collar, every donation, and every share could make a difference for another family.

We can't change what happened to Bambi. But we can honor her by helping make sure other scared dogs that may get lost have a better chance of being reunited.
