At the age of 13 Mosley entered foster care in July 2025 as the result of his owner moving overseas. He arrived deaf and with severe dry eye. Due to his special needs and care we placed him in our palliative care program. Overtime his eyes continued to worsen. In March 2026 one eye was on the verge of rupturing and the other eye an ulcer. At this time he has lost his vision so the plan was to remove both eyes and eliminate the pain.
MABTR's total medical bill for Mosley came to $1400 (which includes a discount). His MABTR adoption fee is zero as he is in palliative care.
