Tula was 3 years old when turned over to MABTR by her family that could no longer care for her or afford her vet bill to have her luxatting patella repaired. She did not like putting any weight on her leg so surgery was warranted at this stage.
Surgery was scheduled not too long after her arrival and she recovered well. Now she is walking on all four so surgery was a success for her.
MABTR's total medical bill for Tula came to $964.88 (which includes a discount). Her MABTR adoption fee was $400 which is based on age, not our investment in her care.
