Olive came to MABTR in Oct 2023 from a breeder at the age of 4. She was always low key but then she stopped eating and no energy. Took her to the vet and had an x-ray done which lead up to a gastrotomy surgery due to an enterotomy. A large amount of dark fiber in stomach, also linear foreign body of the same material removed from the small intestine. This was after a previous surgery when she was spayed. We hate putting dogs under twice but this was life or death.
After surgery with a week to recover Olive had spunk back in her life.
MABTR's total medical bill for Olive came to $1666.53 (which includes a discount). Her MABTR adoption fee was $3250 which is based on age, not our investment in her care.
