Whoever is thinking about volunteering – do it! You won’t regret it!
I have been volunteering for MABTR since 2009. It started when I adopted two Bostons, Sophie and Reno.
I continue to help because I love Boston Terriers! In 2021, I adopted Ella as a puppy.
Currently, I volunteer as an event coordinator for the Cheyenne, Wyoming area, babysit, and transport.
I got involved with rescue work because Boston Terriers need us to advocate for them.
The greatest challenge for the rescue is finding more foster homes. We cannot saves lives unless we have a home for them to temporary go to. Part of my goal at events is to share my experiences so people will sign to help.
I get motivated by reminding myself that all of this is to make things better for Bostons.
My favorite part is seeing all the dogs find forever homes. It warms my heart.
The most challenging part is not being able to do more.
