Otto - MABTR Alumni

Updated: Feb 28

In 2018 I received a request from MABTR to foster a 2 year old male boston that a local owner needed to surrender.  I volunteer with MABTR as a foster home. His background story is that he came from out of state where his original owner passed away. He bounced around other family members and finally landed in Minnesota.  We had just lost our 12-year-old Boston female and I told my husband - "If he's cute, I want to foster fail" and just like that, we took in Otto and he joined our family.

He was so smart, he knew many tricks and obedience. But by working at a Dog Training center I was able to extend his learning even more by taking Advanced Obedience, Canine Good Citizen, Agility and passing his Therapy Dog classes and test.

He has been a fantastic teacher showing other fosters along the way how to Dog 101. And he's my constant companion and best friend.

I feel so thankful to MABTR and Jennifer for bringing Otto into our lives.
