After the abrupt death of our beloved ten-year old Boston Terrier, Franklin, we turned to MABTR to find a new friend. We applied for a puppy or young dog, as we have a young, active family.
As a teacher, I was surprised to receive a call, on the first night of summer, that a twelve-week old puppy was in need of a home.
We spent the summer adjusting to having a baby in the house again. Mornings were spent walking and learning about a leash. Afternoons were spent eating treats and celebrating potty success. By evening, we were ready to cuddle up and enjoy puppy snores.
It has taken hard work and dedication, but Walter has grown into a perfect, handsome little addition to our family. We couldn't be more happy with our MABTR adoption. -- Abby
