Mission
MidAmerica Boston Terrier Rescue exists to rehome the rescued Boston terrier and provide foster care in a “loving home environment” until a happy, safe and “forever” home is found.
 

 

 

Volunteer Opportunities

Transport Volunteer

-Offer your time and vehicle to transporting a rescued pet to his/her new home
-Picking up a rescued dog that has been surrendered
-Pick-up a rescued dog from a shelter or humane society and deliver them to rescue
 
Homevisit Volunteer
-Offer your time to complete a home visit of an applicant in your surrounding area.
-A home visit takes about 30 minutes and requires a home visit report to be
completed, which is supplied by MABTR
 
Special Events Volunteer  
-Offer your time to manning the MABTR booth at scheduled events
-Help with the sales of items such as Younker coupon books, cookie dough, butter braids    
-Volunteer your time to help at various events scheduled throughout the year  
-Help coordinate, organize and volunteer at the Annual MABTR Birthday Bash held in September
 
Fostering
-Open your home to a rescued pet for a few days until transportation arrangements can be made for him/her to get to Omaha, NE where he/she will be placed in foster care
-Provide food, water and shelter to the rescued pet
 
*MABTR is unable to reimburse volunteers for any costs accumulated while volunteering.
