Hospice Program

MABTR has made it a mission to create a hospice program for our Bostons.  This program is being created to help those rescued Bostons, that while are unadoptable due to a terminal illness with limited time left on earth, are still happy and deserving of a good quality of life.  Fulfilling this need for a companion animal and not euthanizing them just because he/she is diagnosed with a terminal illness or other life-threatening aliments are the program’s primary goal.
A dog showing the desire for a good quality life, pain free, will be ensured they achieve this end of life filled with love and safety for their final weeks, months.  Bostons with a terminal illness need to live their life out as forever fosters.

If you have an interest in learning more about this program please contact Jennifer at luckypawpals@aol.com or 402-510-1346.

Currently Dandy is in need of a home to live the rest of his life out. We do not know how long he has. Dandy is a puppy mill survivor who arrived in our care in April 2008. He was was 8 years old then. Adopted out and then two years later returned due to no time. Unfortunately Dandy was also diagnosed with colon cancer.  If you are interested in learning how you can help Dandy please contact us. He is a great boy with a big heart.
