Events and Fundraisers
It is through donations and fundraisers that MABTR is able to
provide medical care for rescued Bostons.
MABTR participates in events throughout the year in order to educate the public on their existence and rescue efforts. We will continue to do our part by exhibiting at events and participating in fundraisers throughout the year.
Keeping checking back as events are added weekly. We invite all our readers to visit us.

BIRTHDAY BASH in Nebraska (click

flyer) - Join MABTR for another year celebrating
birthdays. Join the Bostons and their buddies in Omaha, NE from Noon to 2pm
at Seymour Smith Park Soap Box Derby off 72nd and Harrison.
All breeds welcomed and people too. $5.00 entry
fee per person (children under 12 free). Bring additional cash
for raffles, games, novelties, and food.

*August 17 - Doggie Dip in Nebraska - Join MABTR and many other rescue groups for a dog pool party at Gallagher Park 2936 N 52nd St, Omaha (across from Benson High School). The last day of the season. $5.00 per dog. The party will go from 6pm to 8pm.
*August 23 - Bandanna DOG DAYS in Nebraska (flyer coming soon) - Join MABTR and many other rescue groups from Omaha, NE at the Third Annual Dog Days for games, raffles and much more. Dogs available for adoption will be present from 11am to 2pm. The location is at 182nd and Center Rd. Look for the sign.

*August 23 - Boston Tea Party in Arvada, CO - The Colorado Boston Meet up Group is having their annual Boston Tea Party. Join Boston owners and their four legged friends from 10:30am to 1pm. Location is 7911 LEWIS CT. (Wadsworth to 80th; west on 80th to Kipling, turn left to 77th drive; turn right to Nelson, turn right to next street that is Lewis Ct. turn right. second house on right).
Bring a covered or uncovered dish for people food.

*September 12-14 - PetSmart National Pet Adoption weekend in Omaha, NE and Olatha, KS - Sponsored by PetSmart. Join MABTR among many other local rescue organizations at all PetSmart locations. MABTR will be at PetSmart in Omaha, NE at the Oakview location and the location in Olatha, KS.
*September 13 - Bark in the Park in Omaha, NE - Sponsored by the Eastern Nebraska Boston Terrier Club. Location is Zorinsky Park Shelter #1 in Omaha, NE off 148th and Q St. Visit reputable breeders, learn about the Boston breed, visit with MABTR, get your dog's picture taken in costume, raffles and games. More details coming.

*September 28 - Walk for the Animals in Omaha, NE - Sponsored by the Nebraska Humane Society. Come visit the many rescue organizations and local vendors from 8:30am to 12:00 noon. Plus join in on the walk. The location is the NHS off 89tha and Fort St in Omaha, NE.
