Adoption Application

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY and COMPLETELY

If you are interested in adopting a pet from MidAmerica Boston Terrier Rescue we ask that you complete the following adoption application to the best of your ability and with honesty.  By submitting this completed application, you are neither guaranteed nor obligated to adopt a dog from our organization.

Our adoption process helps to assure us that you are ready for the commitment and responsibility of adopting a Boston into your family. Our top priority is adopting the right Boston into the right home. Adoptions are not completed unless everyone is happy... you, the Boston, and MidAmerica Boston Terrier Rescue members involved.

You only need to complete one application per household NOT per dog of interest.  There is no cost to completing an application with us.

MABTR adopts only to residents in Nebraska, Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, North & South Dakota, Utah, Arkansas, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. We will consider other states however you will be required to drive further for your new dog.

MABTR requires a fenced in area from families who live in house, however we DO adopt to apartment complexes and communities where fences are not allowed.  In these cases the leash law will be enforced.

DO NOT USE THE "ENTER" KEY WHEN FILLING OUT THIS ONLINE FORM.

Use only the "TAB" key.

Which dog(s) on our website would you like to learn more about at this time?

***Note that our number one objective is finding the perfect home for our rescued dog.  Multiple applications are received daily for each dog we have available for adoption.  If we feel that you are a possible match for the dog(s) you listed we will contact you for an interview, otherwise we will file your application for three(3) months and contact you as soon as the right Boston comes along that fits what you are looking for.  In the meantime, we encourage you to check our website on a weekly basis as dogs are added every week. If a dog is listed that you would like to learn more about email us or call us, no need to submit another application.

The information provided below will be kept confidential and not shared with other parties outside of MABTR's organization.  If you are looking at other dogs from other organizations you will need to contact them directly and complete their adoption application as well.

Though you may think our adoption procedures are a bit stringent, please remember that many of our Boston’s have already been separated from a home, and not always a loving one. We try very hard to make the adoptions successful, and make the right decisions for the Boston.
